Customer Reviews

At Dean TV Repair your satisfaction is our goal.

Here are comments from some of our customers.

"My 2 year old 52" Samsung LCD TV stopped working a little bit ago. I delayed repairs because I thought it would be expensive. The TV wouldn't power up even though the power light was on.

I read several Austin-area reviews and heard good things about Dean. I left him a message and he promptly responded. He was able to come out to my home the next day. We pulled the TV off the wall, opened up the back panel and immediately identified that 4 capacitors had gone bad. He had the tools and parts in his van and was able to repair my TV within an hour. The TV never left my home.

When my $3,800 TV broke, I though the repair cost was going to be real high. Dean charged me $200. This included his time to drive out to my home.

Thanks Dean!"

"I have a 55" Sony LCD that developed an optical block engine problem and Dean came out on a Saturday, removed the engine and even provided me the right shipping box to get it repaired. He then returned on a Sunday and had it up and running within the hour. He even assisted me with relocating my new set to my bedroom.

Dean is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous!

I would highly recommend that anyone who needs a TV repair, give Dean a call. He does excellent work!"

"My Panasonic 61" projection TV recently went out. I contacted Dean TV for Saturday morning service. They isolated and corrected two problems in a very short time for a reasonable price.

The picture looks as good as the day I bought it."

"After the picture died on our 53" Sony XBR rear-projection HDTV, two Austin repair shops told me to throw out our TV and buy one of the new models they sell. One of the shops quoted me $350 to pick up our 280 lb. set, give a repair estimate, and dispose of our TV if not economical to fix.

We were about to recycle our TV when I found Dean TV Repair. Dean quoted us a very reasonable fee for an in-home estimate. He came to our home the day we called and repaired our TV that day, in about an hour, while we watched. Dean soldered in brand-new Sony parts and gave me the old parts to keep or throw away.

Our TV is working like new again, there’s a 45-day warranty on the repair, and the entire service cost us less than the other repair shop quoted for only an estimate and disposal fee, without any repair.

Thanks, Dean, for for your excellent service."
